Left Hand Pattern - Arpeggio Pattern

The arpeggio is a wonderful left hand pattern to learn if you are new to the piano in general. If you play classical music then you have encountered this pattern many times.

Today, we will be looking at this pattern in a very simple format that can be modified many different ways.

To play this pattern, you simply take the 1^st, 5^th, and the 8^th tone of a scale and play them one at a time over and over.

You can apply this pattern to any chord progression you encounter in sheet music, fake books, or use it for a simple improvisation.
