I-V-V7 Chord Progression
In this free piano lesson we will be looking at the I-IV-V7 chord progression. This is another very common
chord progression that is similar the I-IV-V.
What makes this chord progression different; however, is the increased tension caused by the dominant seventh chord.
This is a great progression that can be used to improvise with. Just put a simple left hand pattern to it and a melody
line and you have music. Try it out a few times and see for your self.
