Third, the songs are well known modern songs that are used today in praise and worship music as well as some of the standards. The songs also have backing tracks with vocals and a guitarist playing right along with you.

Lesson Instruction - Chord based piano playing is very different from melodic playing. They do a wonderful job of presenting the material in a clear beginner style approach. The piano lessons start very slow and once a solid foundation is given, you're able to move along at a fairly quick pace. The lessons are also shot with a clear overhead view of the keyboard so you can see everything the instructor is doing.

Fun Factor - These are awesome when it comes to having fun. It's not always easy to find a band to practice with. These DVD's give you just that. The best part I found was the song selections. If you are into praise and worship music you'll know these songs and you'll have a blast playing them.

Value - The box set with all four beginners DVD's can be had for under $100 or you can purchase them separately for about $30 each. The course is structured for a years' worth of piano lessons. I think they are worth every last cent!

The Beginners Worship Keyboards Course is a thorough and pleasurable look at playing worship keyboards as a chord based instrument. It will get you at an advanced beginner level but you do not have to fear because they have a follow up course for the intermediate level.

This box set gets a 10 from me. The instructional material is very solid and presented in an enthusiastic manner. The songs are very inspiring. The skills learned are essential. If you've always wondered how to play worship piano with a group or how to accompany a singer then this is it.
